English circa 1900 Mahogany Centre Table
£180
This is an Edwardian, mahogany, high occasional table of good proportions, raised on four slender curved legs with a lower small under-tier centring the stretchers. The lower shelf is small and would have possibly held a vase or planter. The table top is with a scallop edge moulded profile, adding to the decorative appeal. This is a table that has been fully restored to near original condition, it has a lovely colour, is well made and all joints tight and hasn't had any repairs nor suffered any breakage in its 120 year life. Restoration was therefore limited to cleaning and re-polishing.
Size: overall height is 74 cm and the maximum width is 61 cm.
It is of a size that one can draw a chair up to it and big enough to put a laptop on (if one wanted, although possibly not a substitute for a desk)
