This original artwork is a large and rich pastel entitled "Headland in Turkey", painted and signed by artist Sheila Goodman, PS, SWA. It is a dramatic study of light, colour and form which is a trademark of the artist as well as focussed on the favourite subject of trees in the landscape. This particular image is undated but we believe is from the late 20th century to the early part of the 21st.
The pastel is ready to hang, is offered in excellent original condition with an appropriate modern cushion frame and double mounts under glass.

Artist note:
Sheila studied Graphic Design at High Wycombe College of Art 1967-69 and has worked as a graphic designer/illustrator in London and Hampshire. She has painted all her life, being mainly self-taught, and started to use pastel in 1987. Sheila has exhibited in London and the South, and her work has been selected for the Pastel Society, New English Art Club, Marine Society and Royal West Academy in Bristol.
She is both an award winning member as well as an elected member of the Society of Women artists in 1995 and the Pastel Society in 2011. Sheila works in pastel, acrylic, mixed media and collage.
