Horsewell pictures are always great, but this image, a slightly alternative subject for John is in our view just a delight and a cut above more common boat subjects. What John captured has to be one of the best human snapshots. We have gone to the lengths of commissioning custom hand made framing to justify this extraordinary picture.

John Horsewell (b.1956), is a British Contemporary Artist, he quickly moved full time as professional artist in 1978. He started out earning a living in interior designer, although having always produced original paintings from an early age , during his period in the interiors business he was exhibiting and gaining a national reputation. His proficiency in various mediums, including pastel, watercolour, acrylics and oils, as well as having the influence of his father ( also a professional artist, Ron Horsewell), he has sustained a long and prolific period of art, his career has seen him enjoy great success, commensurate with his skill and particular as well as evocative style.

There is a distinct flair, both in colour and execution, to John's work. He paints with a combination of brush and palette knife, giving his work noticeable texture this style injects his paintings with an air of excitement, inviting the viewer to "walk in" and share the experience.
