This is a large and vibrant oil painting on canvas by highly sought after English artist Sue Fitzgerald, dating to the early years of the 21st century (circa 2010) and titled 'early summer morning', depicting a favourite theme of this artist ,poppies, there are various of her works referenced , still life and landscape subjects, which feature poppies, this one we believe is inspired from the French countryside where Sue Fitzgerald has a home.
The canvas is 36 inches wide by 28 inches high in a frame 43 inches wide by 35 inches high.
The picture is ready to hang, nothing to report regarding the condition of the picture and canvass, there is a small dent to the upper edge of the frame but it is small and unobtrusive.
Sue Fitzgerald's work enjoys an international following with few canvasses remaining unsold for long. Her use of colour and capturing the light of a subject offer the viewer are bold and enlivening image.
