Staffordshire Spill & Quill Holder, Bird & Nest

Circa 1870 a Staffordshire pottery spill vase & quill holder, modelled as a bird perched on a spill vase tree trunk, a nest with eggs to one side, the quill hole in the foliage of a high round base.
This is an elaborately decorated piece, and for the most part decoration is to the front only, with the exception of the bird which is fully decorated.
Size: Height 7 inches, width 4 inches, depth of base 2 1/2 inches.
Condition: overall in good condition, there are two small surface flakes to the rear at the top of the spill to be noted.
