Taylor & Tunnicliffe Circa 1890 Pair of Spirit Jugs

A wonderful pair of ceramic liquor jugs beautifully formed with the sides of the jugs being modelled to emulate wicker, topped with silver plated collars with integral spout and both retaining their original stoppers with corks. Each decanter is marked for its content "Whisky" "Brandy".
The underside of each flask is printed for the maker Taylor & Tunnicliffe this style of backstamp was in use during the 1880s, we believe the registered design for this unique item was recorded in 1888.
A superb and highly sought-after pair both in excellent condition Each flask measures 6 1/2" tall .
