19th Century Bone Inlaid Folding Cribbage Box

This Victorian bone and mixed wood (including coromandel) inlaid cribbage board folds in half so that the cards and pegs you need for a game of cribbage are safely contained in one place. The surface inlay is of note, with above average attention to detail. The box has brass hinges and a shepherds crook clasp to secure the box shut, and the original blue velvet inner is in perfect condition. The name NICHOLSON has been written inside. Sadly, the original pegs are no longer with the item.

The box, when folded, is 13 x 8.5cms with a height of 5.5cms. The board when folded out is 26.5cms in length with a height of 3cms.
